Israeli occupation forces arrest Jerusalemite women on charges of “Incitement”
January 13, 2026

In recent days, Israeli occupation forces have detained multiple women from Jerusalem, reportedly for sharing “inciting content” on social media.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem stated that three women, who wished to remain anonymous, were detained and questioned for several hours regarding old posts from a previous time. After hours of detention, the occupation forces released them.

The center stated that intelligence agencies revisited former posts to conduct further investigations, as part of a continuous effort to monitor Palestinian online activity in Jerusalem.
