Isolating 24 Jerusalemites from Al-Aqsa Mosque
The occupation authorities decided on Friday to isolate 24 Jerusalemites from Al-Aqsa Mosque for various durations concurrently with the beginning of the Jewish holidays and settlers’ calls to break into Al-Aqsa in groups.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge decided to isolate Anas Abdeen, Ahmad Shawish, Mahmoud Shawish, Mo’men Gheith and Rawhi Kulghasi from Al-Aqsa Mosque until 10/5/2016; the judge also imposed house-arrest on them until the beginning of next month and imposed a 3-thousand NIS third-party bail on each.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the occupation authorities isolated 19 Jerusalemites (residents of the Old City of Jerusalem) from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days; they were arrested on Friday early morning after raiding their homes. They are: Mahmoud Dweik (arrested on his wedding day), Omar Za’aneen, Thaer Zghayyar, Ahmad Hashlamon, Mohammad Najib, Ahmad Rajabi, Mo’men Hasheem, Ahmad Badrieh, Ma’moon Gheith, Ahmad Bayoumi, Mohammad Ziad, Mohammad Jaber, Ahmad Shawish, Mahmoud Shawish, Ibrahim Natsheh, Munir Ajloni, Amjad Abu Sneineh, Mohammad Bayoumi and Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh.
