Arresting 18 Palestinians after leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque

The occupation forces carried out a series of arrests against Jerusalemites on Tuesday as they were leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Witnesses explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the forces arrested several children and young men while leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque. Occupation intelligence, borders control and police individuals were deployed at Al-Aqsa gates and executed the arrests during which Al-Ghawanmeh and Al-Hadeed gates were closed; men under the age of 30 were prevented from entering Al-Aqsa for nearly one and a half hours.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Israeli forces arrested 13 Jerusalemites, they are:

  13. Sabri Alayan

Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the occupation forces arrested Ahmad Abu Asab and Anas Abu Asab.

The center was also informed that the forces arrested two of Al-Aqsa guards, Louai Abu Sa’ed and Fadi Alayan, and another young man as they were exiting Al-Aqsa Mosque. ‘
