December 14, 2016

The 13-year old Fahmi Eyad Jweiles is currently receiving treatment at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital after being injured by shrapnel of live ammunition fired by the occupation forces in Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Eyad Jweiles explained that his son finished school in “Umaryeh School” in the Old City of Jerusalem and was heading home with his 10-year old brother Nour. While walking home, the occupation forces randomly fired live bullets towards the young Palestinians man Hammad Al-Sheikh under the pretext of stabbing Israeli soldiers.

Jweiles added that his son Fahmi was injured by shrapnel in his head that lead to fractures and bleeding in his skull. He is scheduled to undergo a surgery in Hadassah Ein Kerem on Thursday.

Jweiles explained that his son Nour informed his uncles who work in Al-Wad Street about Fahmi’s injury; they immediately called Fahmi’s father.

Jweiles added that his son was transferred to the Hadassah Esawyeh hospital in an ambulance and then to Hadassah Ein Kerem and the police arrived afterwards.
