Images: Martyrdom of Fadi Al Qunber after Executing a Run- over…Raiding His House and Carrying out Arrests and Summons

The young man, Fadi Ahmad Hamdan Al Qunber, age 28, was shot by Israeli soldiers after running over a group of soldiers in the settlement of “Armon Hanatziv” – which is set up on the territory of Jabal Al Mukaber, south of the city of Jerusalem.

Israeli sources reported that the run-over has led to the killing of four Israeli soldiers and wounded more than 10 others, some with extremely serious injuries.

Israeli sources added that a truck driver stormed a bus station in the settlement of “Armon Hanatziv” located on the lands of Jabal Al Mukaber. The station had tens of soldiers in it; many of them were killed and injured, then the driver reversed his truck to run over another group, then he was shot at, and pronounced dead. Today in the afternoon, the prime minister of the occupying authorities, Benjamin Netanyahu, accompanied by the defense minister, Avigdor Lieberman, went to the location where the soldiers were run over. Netanyahu decided to hold a special session for the mini Ministerial Council of security and political affairs, “Security Cabinet” to discuss the operation.

Raiding the Martyr’s House and Carrying out Arrests

After the operation, the soldiers and Israeli intelligence units stormed the home of martyr Fadi Al Qunber in “Qunber Street” in Jabal Al Mukaber village. They surrounded his house completely and prevented relatives from reaching it except the ones who were summoned. They also prevented the neighbors from passing through to their homes.

The family of the martyr Al Qunber explained that Israeli soldiers arrested Tahani Al Qunber, age 21, the martyr’s wife, Manwa Al Qunber, age 63, the martyr’s mother, Ahmad Al Qunber, age 85, the martyr’s father, his brother Mohammad, age 30, and Munther Al Qunber, age 22. The martyr’s sisters were summoned after interrogating them at home and were called upon to the Mascobia police station in West Jerusalem.

The Israeli soldiers searched the home of the martyr and his brothers who were his neighbors, and deliberately vandalized its contents.

 

Martyr Fadi, was a father of four children, the eldest is 7 years old and the youngest is an infant, and they are: Izz, Jana, Ghazal, and Mohammad.
