Including Sheikh Ekrema Sabri – Expulsions from Al-Aqsa and a decision to demolish 3 facilities in Wadi Al-Hummos
On Sunday afternoon, the occupation authorities expelled Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Authority and Al-Aqsa preacher, from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a week, on charges of "incitement”during the Friday prayer speech and “endangering citizens."
The occupation intelligence summoned Sheikh Ekrema Sabri for investigationat Al-Qishleh police station in West Jerusalem, after storming his house in the morning.
After investigating him, the investigator informed him of his decision to ban him from entering Al-Aqsa for a week, and he must come again on Saturday for further investigation for the possibility of extending his expulsion for another period.
Ahmed Abu Ghazaleh and Moath Idris were also expelled from Al-Aqsa for a week, and are required to come to another investigation after the expulsion period ends.
On the other hand, the Israeli Supreme Court issued today a decision to demolish 3 residential facilities in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Hummos in Sur Baher village, on the pretext of its proximity to the "security fence” established on the lands of the village.
Wadi Al-Hummos neighborhood committee stated that the residential facilities that are threatened with demolition are licensed by the Ministry of Local Government, where most of the buildings are located in an area classified "A" subject to the Palestinian Authority according to the signed agreements, and the facilities belong to: Naim Al-Atrash, Mohammad Abu Tair and Naeem Eliwa.
