Consisting of 16 apartments - demolishing a residential building in Shu’fat refugee camp
Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation municipality demolished a residential building in the Dahiyat al-Salam of Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, without prior warning, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The occupation municipality crews and its vehicles, along with dozens of soldiers and special forces, stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp through the "Ras Khamis" gate, then raided the Dahiyat al-Salam area, surrounded a residential building and prevented access to it, and demanded that its residents leave it immediately to carry out the demolition operation.
The demolition of the building was carried out by 3 bulldozers, and the operation lasted for more than 6 hours.
The residential building consists of 6 floors, two floors for parking, and 4 floors consisting of 16 apartments. It has been in existence for a year, and work is underway to complete the construction process.
The occupation displaced two families after the demolition of the building, and 11 individuals became homeless.
