Two years after the injury and the medical negligence - the martyrdom of the young man Ahmed Abu Sneineh
Late Thursday evening, the young Jerusalemite man Ahmed Abu Sneineh was martyred, as a result of injuries he sustained two years ago during the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on the worshipers during the Al-Taraweeh prayer in 2021.
Since his injury, Ahmed Abu Sneineh had suffered from medical negligence and a delay in providing him with the necessary treatment, which led to the deterioration of his health condition.
On the second anniversary of his injury, Abu Sneineh wrote on his page on "Facebook", at this time two years ago, I lost one of my eyes in the purest point of the earth, the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The occupation took away from me one of my eyes, this is what we are used to from this brutal occupation. The moment I lost it, I gave it for the sake of God. Two years have passed and I am not entering the third year without treatment and without the installation of an eye and without completing the treatment due to the racism of the Zionist occupation. Everyone who was injured and lost an eye knows that it takes only months for the installation of the replacement eye, but I am entering the third year and I do not know when the installation of the eye will be done due to the delay in the treatment.
Ahmed Abu Sneineh was targeted with a rubber bullet on 7/5/2021, "25th of Ramadan", during the attack by the forces on the worshipers after the storming of Al-Aqsa in conjunction with the Al-Taraweeh prayer, causing him fractures in his skull and the loss of his left eye, and since that date he has been suffering from complications from the injury, especially from severe headaches.
At the beginning of last July, the martyr's health deteriorated suddenly, and in a conversation with his wife at the time, she explained that the onset of the symptoms was when he suddenly suffered a convulsion while he was at home, and he was taken to the Hadassah "Issawiya" hospital, and after the examinations, it was found that he was infected with a germ in the brain. And due to the deterioration of his health, he was transferred to Hadassah "Ein Kerem" hospital.
His wife added: "Ahmed arrived at the hospital in a difficult state of health, due to a weak respiratory system, and the doctors decided to connect him to the respiratory system and anesthetize him, and some of his organs were damaged, including his kidneys and liver, in addition to blood clots."
Over the past weeks, the health condition of the young man Abu Sneineh has deteriorated.
