Day 360 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 360th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the occupation municipality's bulldozers carried out a demolition operation in Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, while the municipality's crews distributed demolition notices and summonses to follow up with the municipality in the village of Issawiya. Settlers' raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, and the forces continued to raid towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem.
A large-scale demolition operation in Shu’fat refugee camp
The occupation municipality's crews and bulldozers, accompanied by special forces and police, stormed Shu’fat refugee camp at dawn, surrounded the entire area and closed the military checkpoint at the entrance to the camp, then raided a number of shops and began demolishing them under the pretext of building without a permit.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, quoting the shop owners, explained that the demolition operation targeted 7 shops, which are "shops selling construction materials, electrical appliances, a warehouse, a café, mattresses, and a supermarket", under the pretext of building without a permit. The shop owners explained that they have been operating for nearly 20 years.
Bulldozers also demolished part of a café belonging to the Al-Bakri family, but it was not completed due to an electrical short circuit during the demolition process.
During the demolition process, which lasted several hours, the forces closed the checkpoint while students and employees were leaving the camp.
Issawiya…Distribution of notices
The occupation forces, accompanied by municipality crews, stormed the village of Issawiya and hung "demolition notices, stop construction notices, and summons to follow up with the municipality" on facilities in the village.
Al-Aqsa Mosque
176 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, and the settlers performed collective and public prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa.
Yesterday, during the storming of Al-Aqsa, the settlers danced, sang, and distributed sweets in celebration of the "assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah", noting that 271 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa yesterday.
The occupation authorities assassinated Nasrallah on Friday in a raid on the southern suburb of Beirut, and on Saturday his martyrdom was announced.
The forces also continued their storming of towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and in the afternoon hours, the forces arrested a child from the Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan, after he left his school in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities renewed the ban on entering Al-Aqsa Mosque imposed on the Jerusalemite, Alaa Al-Sous, for a month.
On the other hand, the police closed two commercial establishments in Jerusalem, under the pretext of "employing workers with West Bank IDs without permits," as the police said.
The police added in a statement that they arrested 23 young men with West Bank IDs, under the pretext of entering Jerusalem illegally.
