3 injuries by live bullets in Shu’fat refugee camp
On Tuesday evening, 3 Jerusalemites were injured in Shu’fat refugee camp in the city of Jerusalem.
The residents of the camp said that the occupation forces have stormed Shu’fat refugee camp several times since Tuesday morning, set up checkpoints and issued violations, and raided shops. In the evening hours, they returned and stormed the camp in large numbers.
The residents said that the forces used live bullets randomly throughout the hours of storming the camp, and fired tear gas bombs heavily in the streets of the camp. The dense smoke emanating from the tear gas bombs covered the streets of the camp during the spread of the gas.
The Israeli police said in a statement that they opened fire in Shu’fat refugee camp, and 3 people were injured, under the pretext of "throwing stones and concrete blocks."
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem learned that two people were injured by live bullets in the chest area, and residents suffered severe suffocation from tear gas bombs.
Eyewitnesses said that the forces stormed a health center inside the camp, and that the forces arrested 3 young men from the camp.
