Fierce clashes in Silwan between Palestinian residents and settlers' guards
Clashes erupted again Thursday evening between Palestinian residents and settlers' guards in the heart of Silwan, next to the "Beit Yonatan" settlers' building. It is reported that guards of both "Beit Yonatan" and "City of David" settlements in Silwan, were shooting at Palestinian residences in addition to other violence.
Jawad Abu Ramuz, a resident of Silwan, stated that Palestinians suffered several injuries from fire extinguishers used by the Israeli guards. The Palestinians set fire to tires in retaliation to the settlers' actions. Eyewitnesses report a large precense of Israeli police and solders in the area.
