The occupation forces arrest two children from the village of Al-Tur
The occupation forces arrested on Friday night two children from the village of Al-Tur.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer explained that the forces arrested 12-year old Mustafa Ahmad Abulhawa and 10-year old Mohammad Sameeh Alayan from Al-Tur and transferred them for interrogation at Salah Eddin Street police station; they also arrested.
Sameeh Alayan explained that his son and his cousin Mustafa were walking in the village of Al-Tur when occupation soldiers attacked them and arrested them under the pretext of throwing stones towards the settlers’ bus; several settlers were pointing their fingers at the children.
Alayan added that the forces arrested the two children and transferred them to Salah Eddin Street police stations where they were interrogated alone and without the presence of an adult companion. The police then allowed the companion to enter for one hour and then continued interrogating the children alone.
Alayan also added that signs of fear and worry were obvious on his son who was visiting his grandmother in the village of Al-Tur.
The police released the two children late Friday night and imposed house-arrest for 5 days and a 500-NIS bail on Abulhawa.
The children explained that they were arrested while walking in the street and were transferred to the settlement outpost in Al-Tur and then to the “Inter” police station before being transferred to Salah Eddin Street police station.
The forces also arrested on Friday 16-year old Mohammad Mashahreh after raiding his home in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber.
The Magistrate judge extended on Friday the arrest of the two minors Mohammad Halseh and Mohammad Arafat Obeidat until next Thursday.
The judge also decided to release Abed Barbar and Fathi Naser Njadeh on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS for each.
