Pictures: The occupation arrests two brother after raiding their home in Silwan
The occupation forces arrested on Monday afternoon two Jerusalemite brothers after raiding their home in Silwan.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces suddenly raided several neighborhoods in Silwan in the afternoon hours and established checkpoints in the area. They were mainly focused on the area of Ein Al-Lozeh and also raided commercial stores.
The center added that the soldiers raided the house of Abu Al-Hamam family in Hosh Abu Tayeh in Ein Al-Lozeh and assaulted the family members. They arrested 17-year old Mohammad Arafat Abu Al-Hamam and his 19-year old brother Shadi and transferred them to the police vehicle by force; the soldier beat them on their heads with the butts of their guns.
Ali Abu Al-Hamam was injured by a rubber bullet in his leg during the occupation forces’ raid on the village.
Abu Al-Hamam family explained that the forces completely damaged the contents of their house.
The center pointe out that the soldiers were heavily deployed in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh prior to raiding the house of Abu Al-Hamam family.
On the other hand, occupation intelligence personnel raided the land of Khaled Al-Zeer in Silwan and searched several young men and children in a provocative way.
