August 11, 2016

The Israeli police said in a statement issued on Thursday afternoon that a young Palestinians man stabbed a settler using a screwdriver in the village of Al-Tur east of the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.

After the stabbing incident, occupation forces were heavily deployed in the streets of Al-Tur and at its entrances and intersections as they were searching for the young man with the support of a helicopter.

On the other hand, the spokesman of Fateh movement in Shu’fat refugee camp Thaer Fasfoos explained that the forces arrested on Thursday 5 Palestinians youths from Shu’fat refugee camp under the pretext of illegally being in the city as they are from the West Bank.

The occupation forces raided several houses in the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh in Silwan under the pretext of “collecting unpaid debts”.
