Sentencing a young man…arresting a child
The District judge sentenced on Monday a young Jerusalemite man while the forces arrested a child from the village of Silwan.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the District judge sentenced Ahmad Hindi for 4 years of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 12 months for 3 years on charges of throwing Molotov Cocktails. The lawyer pointed out that the public prosecution requested to sentence him for 11 years in prison but the judge decided to sentence him for 4 years after hearing both parties (prosecution and the defense lawyer).
On the other hand, the occupation forces arrested the minor Mohammad Ghaleb Jamjoom from Silwan and transferred him for interrogation at Al-Maskobyeh police center.
