The occupation forces arrest two children from Silwan…distributing demolition orders in the village of Esawyeh
The occupation forces arrested on Tuesday afternoon two children from the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh in Silwan.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the forces arrested 15-year old Mustafa Baydoun and 19-year old Mohammad Baydoun from Wadi Hilweh, Silwan.
On the other hand, municipality crews raided on Tuesday the village of Esawyeh and distributed demolition orders to several residential establishments.
Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained that municipality crews along with Israeli forces raided the southeastern side of the village and the area overlooking the street leading to Maale Adomim settlement in particular and hung demolition orders on several establishments.
Abu Hummos added that distributing demolition orders was random and without mentioning the names of the establishments’ owners. He pointed out that most of the establishments in the area have been established for 20-40 years and some of them are licensed by the municipality.
Abu Hummos said: “The various Israeli authorities are targeting the village of Esawyeh on a daily basis in order to create a state of instability in the village. Arrests, raids, checkpoints and continuous deployment of Israeli forces in the streets of the village as well as harassing the owners of commercial establishments create chaos in the village causing instability.”
Occupation bulldozers continued demolishing the apartment of Hadreh family in the village of Al-Tur; parts of the apartment were demolished at the beginning of the month but the demolition process was stopped due to a malfunction in one of the bulldozers.
The apartment is under-construction and the family had started building last March.
