Occupation forces along with employees of Israeli tax authorities raided on Wednesday night the commercial stores in Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem and arrested three merchants.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces along with tax authorities’ employees raided Al-Wad Street and stormed into commercial stores, checked the IDs of the owners and checked their tax files.

Witnesses explained that the forces arrested three merchants including Ihab Zghayyar.

Merchants were forced to close their shops during the raid operation to avoid harassment.

On the other hand, the forces arrested 10 young men during a raid on Shu’fat Refugee Camp in Jerusalem under the pretext of “illegal presence in the city” since they hold West Bank IDs. Clashes broke out between young men and the forces which heavily fired tear-gas canisters in the streets of the Refugee Camp; they also randomly issued several traffic tickets.
