The occupation forces arrest Sheikh Najeh Bkeirat and two Jerusalemite women

The occupation forces arrested on Monday Sheikh Najeh Bkeirat, director of education in the Islamic Awqaf department, and Ikram Natsheh and her daughter Raghad after stopping two busses in Street number 1 in Jerusalem while they were on their way to Jaffa.

Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, was passing by in the same street while the forces were stopping the two busses. He said the police stopped the busses and checked the IDs of drivers and passengers before arresting Bkeirat and the two women.

Abu Asab added that the police detained the two busses from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. According to several women, the police were following the busses from the area of Al-Musrara all the way to Street number 1.

Abu Asab added that the police seized the driving licenses of both drivers and prohibited them from using or driving their busses until Wednesday; they also requested them and several women for interrogation.
