Arresting 5 Jerusalemites from the village of Esawyeh…releasing a prisoners after 12 years in prison
The occupation forces arrested on Sunday night 5 Jerusalemites from the village of Esawyeh.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the forces arrested Ahmad Mousa Darwish (52), Ibrahim Mousa Darwish (42), Mansour Hasan Darwish (29), Mohammad Nihad Obeid (25) and Sa’eb Kayed Dirbas (23).
Witnesses explained that the forces assaulted and severely beat the young during the arrests as the forces were deployed in the streets of the village of Esawyeh.
Mohammad Abu Hummos said the soldiers randomly fired sound grenades and rubber bullets during the raid operation.
In a related matter, the occupation police released 34-year old Mousa Mohammad Darwish after spending 12 years in the occupation’s prisons.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the occupation intelligence arrested Mousa Darwish immediately after he was released from Negev prison. While his family has waiting for him outside the prison since the morning hours, a vehicle including intelligence personnel came and picked him up from the prison’s gate and left.
Darwish explained he was arrested on 5/3/2005 along with a group of other people from the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Palestine, and were convicted of planning to kill Rabbi Ovadia Yousef.
