Prison sentences...extensions of arrest…releases

The Israeli judges sentenced three Jerusalemites and extended the arrest of several others.

Lawyer Mohamamd Mahmoud explained that the judge sentenced Mohammad Munther Atyeh for 100 days in prison and a suspended probation of 4 months.

Recently, Nidal Fasfoos was also sentenced for 220 hours of public service, a suspended probation of 4 months for three years and a 1000-NIS fine while Salameh Obeid was sentenced for 6 months of public service, a 2000-NIS fine and a suspended probation of 8 months for three years.

Extensions of arrest

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud added that the judge extended the arrest of Rami Barakat and Fadi Thaher until 14/6/2017, Amir Mahmoud and Mohamamd Mustafa until 13/6/2017, Ihab Hadreh and Mohammad Ajloni until 14/6/2017. He also extended the arrest of Mohamamd Mheisen, Ahmad Mheisen, Mohammad Abu Hummos, Mohammad Atyeh and Mahmoud Mahmoud until 19/7/2017, Mohammad Naji Abu Jom’a until 13/6/2017, Bashar Dibs and Nour Eddin Taha until 5/7/2017, Mutasem Ja’bari until 9/7/2017, Ahmad Sa’eedeh 5/7/2017, Mahmoud Abu Sbeih until 9/7/2017, Mohammad Dakkaq until 3/7/2017, Mohammad Dirbas until 10/9/2017 for sentencing, Musleh Shihadeh until 10/7/2017 for sentencing, Mohammad Bakri and Emad Abu Sneineh and Walid Obeid until completing the legal procedures against them.

The judge also extended the house-arrest imposed on Yehya Risheq and filed an indictment against him.

Releases

The police unconditionally released Daniel Abu Nasra and Mohammad Khweis while Ahmad Mahmoud and Odai Dirbas were released with a third-party bail while Ragheb Abu Sneineh, Ahmad Tamimi, Ma’moon Gheith and Amir Basti were released on condition of house-arrest for 4 days and Mansour Mahmoud, Wasim Obeid and Yaser Darwish were released with a 2000-NIS bail. 

In the same context, Mahmoud Zaghal was released with a 500-NIS bail while Yoused Abu Jom’a and Louai Satleeh were released on condition of house-arrest for 7 days and a 500-NIS bail for each.
