Extending the arrest of the youth Abdel Rahman Abu Jamal while detained and receiving treatment

The occupation’s judge extended the arrest of the youth Abdel Rahman Ali Abu Jamal, 17, on Wednesday, on charges of "carrying out a stabbing attack inside Jabal Al-Mukabber police station."

Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer, Razan Jo’beh, said that an absentia hearing was held for Abdel Rahman, and the judge extended his arrest until next Wednesday.

The center’s lawyer added that Abdul Rahman was in the intensive care unit at Shaare Zedek Hospital, where she visited him after submitting a "request for a visit to the judge."

Jo’beh added that Abdel Rahman is in the hospital guarded by the Israeli police "on the door of the room and inside.”She was not given any information on his health condition, whether it was regarding where he was shot or why he lost consciousness and if it was a result of anesthesia," pointing out he was connected to medical devices, and suffers from a difficult health situation.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the Israeli forces and intelligence personnel stormed Abdel Rahman’s house twice and executed arrests among his family members: the parents of the prisoner “Ali and Yusra” his brothers Mohammed and Mahmoud, and his sisters Hana’ and Amani, his uncle Jamal who is a former prisoner and his cousins Anwar and Yusuf.
