The occupation forces arrest freed prisoner Rami Fakhouri…arrests in the village of Esawyeh

The Israeli occupation forces arrested Ramadi Fakhouri after Friday midnight.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner RamiFakhouri in an ambush in Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem.

The center pointed out that the occupation authorities launched at dawn last Thursday a series of arrests of more than 20 Jerusalemites, and charged them with "participating in the wedding of Rami Fakhouri, raising green banners "Hamas movement"and praising it and the perpetrators that carried out attacks against Israelis". Among the detainees is the father of the groom –released after hours of arrest - and vocalist Murad Zghari and another group of young men.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Mohammad Sami Anwar Obeid, 14, while he was walking in the village of Esawyeh concurrently with ongoing clashes in the villages. The forces also arrested Mohammad Musa Abu Hummos and Mohammad Ashraf Abu Hummos, according to local sources.

In the late evening, the youths threw firecrackers and Molotov cocktails at Israeli police vehicles in the village of Al-Tur and Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in the city.

Nidal Faqih

The Jerusalemites Nidal Faqih was wounded by fractures under his eye, bleeding and bruising as a result of the settlers' assault on him last Thursday while he was on duty as a bus driver in the settlement of Modi'in Illit.

According to Faqih, twosettlers blocked his bus as he was on his way to the buses parking area, and cursed him after they knew that he was an Arab. They followed him and managed to board the bus and assaulted him with the help of more than 10 other settlers.
