Depriving the children from going on a trip- detaining the bus and arresting the guides

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested five Jerusalemites while escortingchildren from the village of Issawiya on a recreational trip after blocking the way of the bus at the eastern entrance of the village.

Mohammed Abu Hummus, member of the follow-up committee in Issawiya, said that the Israeli intelligence personnel chased a bus carrying 35 children between the ages of 8 and 12, and stopped it at the entrance of the village and detained it for no reason.

He added that the occupation intelligence forced the bus driver to go to the military camp "at the eastern entrance of Issawiya"; 3 intelligence officers were inside the bus.

Abu Hummus said that the occupation forces and the intelligence personnel stopped the bus at the entrance to the camp and searched it completely, and issued a NIS 1000 fine for the driver. They also suspended the license of the bus”.

He explained that the forces released the driver and the children, and arrested 5 guides: Mahmoud Shehadeh Mustafa, Abdel Nasser Obeid, Yunes Ali Nasser, Murad Shallodi and Nidal Alayan.
