Occupation authorities demolish an apartment in Al-Tur…expulsions from Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem
Last Tuesday, the Israeli municipality demolished an under-construction apartment in the village of Al-Tur belonging to Issa Khalil, under the pretext of building without a permit, while two youths were expelled from Al-Aqsa and three Jerusalemites were deported from the city of Jerusalem
Eyewitnesses told Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by municipal crews, stormed the village of Al-Tur, and raided Khalil building and completely besieged it, to demolish the third floor of the building which was built several months ago, and has an area of 120 square meters.
Abu Issa Khalil, the owner, explained that the municipality's crews carried out the demolition of the apartment using hand demolition tools. He pointed out that the construction was from reinforced plates and was being prepared for his son Issa to move in with his family.
Khalil added that the municipal staff handed him a decision to self-demolish his apartment, and gave him until Monday to implement it, and said: "I began the process of self-demolition by completely demolishing the roof, and today the municipal staff arrived and completed the demolition."
During the demolition, the Israeli occupation forces severely beat members of the family, wounding Oday Khalil with bruises and wounds. He was transferred to the medical treatment. Theforced also arrested Qusai Khalil, 21, and Issa Khalil, 29.
The Israeli police released the two brothers Qusai and Issa, provided that they get deported from the city of Jerusalem, for two days, under the pretext of assaulting police officers and obstructing their work.
On the other hand, the Israeli police released Ms. Hanadi Al-Halawani, Khadija Khweis and Areen Al-Za'aneen on condition that they stay away from Al-Aqsa until the end of this month. They must come again for investigation and to receive new decisions to expel them from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
