An indictment against the child Ashraf Adwan and transferring him to an internal institution
On Sunday,the Public Prosecution submitted an indictment against the child Ashraf Hassan Adwan, 12 years old, and transferred him to “Yarka” correctional institution in the 1948 lands.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer for minors, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Public Prosecution submitted an indictment to the Magistrate's Court against the child Ashraf Adwan, which included "an attempt to injure a female soldier at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Attorney Mahmoud added that the court decided to transfer the child Adwan to “Yarka" institution inside the Palestinian 1948 lands, and appointed another hearing for him on 12/12/2019.
On 26/9/2019, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the child, from inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, on charges of attempting to stab a female soldier in the area.
