On Wednesday, the Abu Jom’a family self-demolished their two apartments in the village of Al-Tur, by a decision from the occupation municipality, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Ibrahim Abu Jom’a explained that he started building the two apartments about 4 months ago, and at that time the occupation authorities issued a decision to demolish them. The lawyer was able to postpone the demolition until yesterday, informing them of the need to implement the decision, otherwise the municipality will carry out the demolition process, and the family must pay "the fee for them and the accompanying forces."
Abu Jom’a added that the property that was demolished is on the second floor with a total area of 180 square meters that was still under construction. The area was supposed to be divided into two apartments.
