Arrests and suppression of a demonstration condemning the abuse of prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
On Friday, the occupation authorities suppressed a march denouncing the abuse of the Prophet Muhammad, may blessings and peace be upon him, as soon as it left Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Thousands of worshipers demonstrated in the squares of Al-Aqsa Mosque, chanting amplifications and chants denouncing the statements of French President Macron, as well as chanting slogans "No to French products…and Prophet Muhammad is a red line."
The demonstrators marched from the Al-Qibli Mosque Square towards the Dome of the Rock Mosque and to Al-Majles Gate, and as soon as they left Al-Aqsa, the occupation forces surrounded them and attacked them and tried to prevent their progression.
The occupation forces arrested 5 young men and transferred them to investigation. Among them were:photographer Abed Al-Afou Zghayyar, Ahmad Dkeidek, and Sameh Dais.
