Expulsions from Al-Aqsa Mosque…arrests
On Friday, the occupation authorities expelled Jerusalemites from Al-Aqsa for a period of 6 months.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer, Firas Al-Jabrini, stated that the police expelled Siraj Al-Natsheh from Al-Aqsa for 6 months, and Mohammad Abu Ghannam for 3 months.
The lawyer explained that the police also deported a girl from the Old City for two weeks on Thursday.
On the other hand, Al-Jabrini added that the Special Forces and the police tried to arrest Alaa Abu Omar after chasing him in the town of Beit Hanina, and then handed him an "immediate summon" for investigation at Al-Qishleh police station in the Old City of Jerusalem, on charges of "assaulting a policeman and incitement on social media."
Local sources reported that the forces arrested Wissam Sider from Bab Hutta neighborhood in the Old City of Jerusalem.
