Shu’fat refugee camp - taking measurements of the Tamimi family's house, violent confrontations and arrests
At dawn Tuesday, the occupation forces stormed the home of the Tamimi family - whose son is accused of carrying out a shooting attack at the Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint last Saturday - amid violent confrontations in the camp's streets and alleys, which lasted for several hours.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces, in large numbers, stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp, Dahiyat Al-Salam, Ras Khamis and Ras Shehadeh, and spread in all streets and topped the roofs of buildings, and sniper teams were set up on top of some buildings and inside the streets. The forces fire live ammunition, tear gas and rubber bullets.
The helicopter and drones also hovered over the Shu’fat refugee camp, during the storming operation.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces stormed theTamimi family's house, and took off its main door, then the engineering teams began to take the areas and measurements of the house, and examined its walls, as well as broke into a number of neighboring houses.
During that time, the occupation forces arrested the two young men, Jamal Khaled Tamimi and Jamal Tamimi.
The occupation forces continue to besiege Shu’fat refugee camp and Anata, and the residents confirmed that despite the partial opening of the entrances to the area, exit from them is part of long and crippling inspection procedures, and the forces deliberately delay this.
On Monday, the occupation police announced that they had arrested 11 people from the family of the suspect, most of whom were released.
