Including the mother of martyr Alqam - A wide series of arrests in Jerusalem
During the past hours, the occupation police carried out a wide series of arrests in the city of Jerusalem.
The Israeli police announced that it had arrested 42 people from the city of Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center learned that the arrests were transferred to interrogation centers in the city, "Salah al-Din Street, O’z, Al-Qishla, Moria, and Al-Maskobyeh," and some of them were transferred to cells.
The center learned that among the detainees were the mother of the martyr Khairy Alqam, Sufian Al-Natsheh, Islam Al-Natsheh, Mustafa Al-Natsheh, Ayoub Al-Abbasi, Zaid Alqam, and Khaled Abdel-Rahman.
A mass arrest operation was conducted after the Alqam family house was stormed in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan.
The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the police will form a special unit to follow up on arrests in the city of Jerusalem during this period, similar to the unit that was formed last year during the months of April and December.
