Details- An indictment against the child, Mohammad Al-Zalbani, and transferring him to an “internal institute”
On Thursday, the Public Prosecution submitted an indictment against the child, Mohammad Basil Al-Zalbani, 13, to the District Court in Jerusalem.
Firas Al-Jabrini, a lawyer for the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, explained that the Public Prosecution filed an indictment against the child, Mohammad Al-Zalbani, which included "premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances."
He added that it was decided to transfer him from Al-Maskobyeh Prison to an internal institute in Yarka in the Palestinian 1948 lands, and it was also decided to "cancel his definition as a detainee" because he is less than 14 years old.
On 13/2/2023, the occupation forces arrested the child, Mohammad Al-Zalbani, from inside a bus at the entrance to Shu’fat refugee camp. According to the indictment, Al-Zalbani carried out a stabbing attack inside a bus, at the Shu’fat military camp checkpoint, while a member of the border guards and a guard were examining the identities of the passengers. As a result, the guard fired bullets, injuring the soldier, and killing him.
