He was arrested after the end of his school day - the release of a Jerusalemite child
The occupation police released on Monday afternoon, the 8-year-old Mahmoud Abu Al-Hawa, after interrogating him on suspicion of “throwing stones.”
Mohammad Mahmoud, a lawyer for the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, explained that the police released the child, Mahmoud Abu Al-Hawa, after detaining and interrogating him while he was present and accompanying him during the investigation, because of the absence of his family members during his arrest and while being transferred to the police station, as the law prohibits the investigation of children under the age of 12, on their own.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that the police released the child after interrogating him for several minutes without conditions.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that members of the undercover unit, "the police disguised as civilian clothes", arrested the child Mahmoud Abu al-Hawa as he left his school in the town of al-Tur, after the end of his school hours.
