Day 95: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 95th day of “Al-Aqsa Flood Operation”, the occupation authorities blew up the homes of two brothers in the village of Sur Baher, while the siege imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the raids into towns and neighborhoods of the city of Jerusalem continued.
Storming and bombing the homes of the two martyrs, Nimer
The occupation authorities blew up the homes of the two martyrs, Murad Nimer and his brother Ibrahim, and the occupation displaced 5 individuals, including 3 children.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the occupation forces, with various teams and accompanied by explosives experts and engineering teams, stormed the village of Sur Baher, south of Jerusalem, and raided the homes of the two martyrs Nimer, in the “Em Lisoun” and “Al-Makafa” areas, closed the roads leading to them, and were stationed at their entrances and the intersections leading to the two houses.
The center added that the home of the martyr Murad is an apartment on the first floor in a residential building in Em Lisoun, while the martyr Ibrahim has an apartment on the second floor of a residential building in Al-Makafa.” Immediately after storming the two apartments, the occupation forces evacuated the residential buildings and some nearby homes, while “leaflets” were distributed in the two areas demanding that the residents must not leave their homes until the bombing operation is completed.
The center added that the forces blew up the two apartments in the same minute, while they completed the demolition of “the front of the apartment of the martyr Ibrahim with a bulldozer,” and of the martyr Murad with manual demolition tools, and posted a decision preventing entry on the two apartments.
During the demolition process, some windows of the two buildings and the outer courtyards were damaged.
In the house of the martyr Murad Nimer, the occupation authorities confiscated birds in their cages from his yard.
The Information Center explained that the occupation authorities closed the homes of the two martyrs, Nimer, at the beginning of December, by decision of the Prime Minister of the Israeli government and the Minister of National Security. The forces closed all the doors and windows of the two apartments and prevented the two families from using them.
The Nimer brothers were martyred at the end of last November, after they carried out a shooting operation at the western entrance to Jerusalem in the “Ramot” area, which led to the killing of 4 settlers.
The surroundings of the two houses continued to be closed and entry to several streets was prevented, from the morning hours until noon (more than 5 hours), and the presence of the forces coincided with the end of school hours and the students heading to their homes. The forces prevented dozens of students from continuing their walk to their homes and also prevented families from heading to some schools to take their children.
The siege of Al-Aqsa continues
For the third month in a row, the occupation authorities continued to impose restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa, preventing young men and allowing elderly people and women to enter it.

Meanwhile, the settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, as 137 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Dung Gate, guarded by the occupation forces.
