Day 179: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 179th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the demands of the "groups of the alleged temple" to slaughter the Passover sacrifices in Al-Aqsa" continued, while the incursions into the neighborhoods and neighborhoods in Jerusalem continued.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the "Return to the Temple" group demanded from the police to allow them to bring Passover sacrifices to be slaughtered inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, specifying the time and place "22/4/2024, on the surface of the Dome of the Rock specifically near the Al-Silsileh Gate. They confirmed that they will bring the necessary equipment and tools for the slaughter.
It is noteworthy that the groups of the alleged temple annually demand the slaughter of the Passover sacrifices inside Al-Aqsa, while they do so in the areas near it such as the Umayyad palaces, and nearby surfaces.
Also, the presence and stationing of the forces at all the gates of Al-Aqsa and its roads continued, and the harassment of the worshipers, especially those performing I’tikaf, continued with the repeated I.D. checks in the squares or at the gates, and the forces arrested a young man from inside the Al-Aqsa.
On the other hand, Mohammad Mahmoud, a lawyer for the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, explained that the court extended the arrest of the boy Nasrallah Al-A'war until next Thursday.
Al-A’war was arrested after breaking into his home in Silwan, and he is one of the freed prisoners released in the prisoners’ exchange deal between Israel and Hamas.
The police released Amal Barghouth - the wife of the prisoner lawyer Tarek Barghouth - on bail worth 12 thousand shekels. She was arrested under the pretext of "entering Jerusalem illegally".
The incursions into the towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem also continued.
