Day 187: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
April 10, 2024

On the 187th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", tens of thousands performed “Eid al-Fitr” prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and forces carried out separate arrests in the city of Jerusalem.

The Islamic Endowments Department explained that 60,000 worshipers performed Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa.

Worshipers flocked to Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning hours, and performed Eid prayers, amid the presence and deployment of forces at the gates of Al-Aqsa. The forces prevented some young men from entering it and attacked the worshipers by pushing and beating them in the Lions Gate and Al-Silsileh Gate area.

Those deported from Al-Aqsa also performed Eid prayers on the Al-Mujahideen Road “between Lions Gate and Hutta Gate.”

The forces also roamed among the worshipers in Al-Aqsa squares, detained some young men, and conducted a “field investigation” with them.

In the early hours of the first day of Eid al-Fitr, the forces stormed the town of Silwan and arrested 3 young men.
