The Wadi Hilweh Information Center-Jerusalem explained that the occupation municipality forced the freed prisoner Mohammad Alayan to self-demolish his home in the Al-Thori neighborhood in the town of Silwan, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The Alayan family emptied the contents of their home and began the demolition process, to avoid paying fines to the municipality.
Alayan explained that he recently added a building to his home, and was surprised during that by a "stop work" decision, and within days the municipality issued a "final demolition decision", and gave him two days to implement the decision.
The area of the house is 200 square meters, and 4 people live in it.
The forces continued to raid towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem, and in the evening hours, clashes broke out in the Shu’fat refugee camp.
In the early hours of Saturday, the police released the head of the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood committee, Zuhair al-Rajabi, and it was found that he had suffered various fractures and bruises after being severely beaten during his arrest from his home in the neighborhood.
