A comprehensive closure on "Yom Kippur"
On the Jewish "Yom Kippur" holiday, the occupation authorities closed the main streets of Jerusalem, bridges, tunnels, and entrances to neighborhoods and towns near the settlements built on Palestinian lands, and isolated neighborhoods and towns and divided streets and roads. The closures on this holiday annually cause restrictions on the movement of Jerusalemites and their travel from one place to another.
The closures began on Friday afternoon and remained until sunset on Saturday.
After midnight, settlers attacked vehicles and property of Jerusalemites in the village of Umm Tuba south of Jerusalem.
Arrests
The police said in a statement that they arrested two young men late Friday evening, on suspicion of "shooting from a vehicle."
