Settler attacks on Jerusalemites continued with bullets, sharp objects, insults, provocations, and shoving.

Late Sunday evening, settlers insulted Jerusalemites as they walked through the Old City.

Settlers also assaulted a young man as he walked on Jaffa Street in West Jerusalem, and police arrested the young man.

In the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood, settlers assaulted residents with shoving, provocations, and insults as they headed home before Iftar (the Maghreb prayer).

In the evening, settlers assaulted young men in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan.

Last Wednesday evening, March 12, 2025, a settler shot Ahmed Nijem, a Jerusalemite, as he was walking on Jaffa Street in West Jerusalem.

The young man was shot in the leg. A video clip filmed by an "eyewitness" shows the shooter, who said he was a settler standing with a soldier and another settler at the scene. According to the video, the young man was left bleeding.

The video also showed that the Border Police and settlers left the scene. The soldier did not investigate the incident, did not detain the shooter, and no ambulance was called for the injured person.

Last Monday, March 10, 2025, a settler assaulted Mohammad Burqan, a bus driver, while he was working in the Ramot Shlomo settlement, built on the lands of Shu’fat.

The settlers attacked Burqan with a fire extinguisher and sprayed the substance directly in his face. As he exited the bus, suffering from suffocation, dozens of settlers pursued him and attempted to stab him with scissors.
