A Jerusalemite prisoner sentenced to imprisonment... Indictment issued against a Jerusalemite woman and arrests in Shu’fat refugee camp

An Israeli court sentenced 22-year-old Palestinian prisoner Tasneem Odeh from Jerusalem to 17 months in prison on Monday. She was arrested in December 2024. Israeli authorities accused Odeh of "incitement via social media," alleging she posted photos considered supportive of "terrorism."

Tasneem Odeh is the daughter of Barakat Odeh, who was killed in 2022.

Shu’fat refugee camp

Israeli forces raided the Shu’fat refugee camp in northeast Jerusalem after midnight last night and arrested eight young Palestinian men.

Israeli police announced that the operation was part of 'Operation Shield for Jerusalem,' describing it as 'a new phase of police activities in Jerusalem.'

Indictment filed against a Jerusalemite Woman

Today, the Israeli Public Prosecution announced an indictment against a woman from Jerusalem after her arrest at the Al-Z’ayem checkpoint east of Jerusalem, where she was caught transporting three Palestinians without entry permits.

She was accused of "illegally transporting and employing Palestinians."
